Basketball Workshop
Focus of training sessions: Shooting maneuvers, 4 move ball handling maneuvers, one-on-one manuvers, Two man offensive maneuvers, Transition positioning, Offensive positioning, Defensive positioning, Basketball IQ, and film study. (all sessions will cover post, wing, & guard positions)







For Boy & Girls ages 10-18
Cost: $25/session
(10 student limit)

1/17, Wend., 4-6pm @ Thurgood Marshall Elem., Sea- Ball Handling Maneuvers
1/26- Transition Offense/Defense
2/2- Post & Guard Maneuvers
2/9- Defensive Postioning
2/16- Pick & Roles, slips, pops
2/23- Shot Selection & Shot Maneuvers
3/2- Post & Guard Maneuvers

Workshop Outlines

Offensive Training– Player will be drilled on correct offensive teamwork. This includes spacing, shot selection, pick& roll/pop, slip screens, secondary moves, post moves, jump stops, communication, decision making, and more.

Defensive Training– Players will be drilled on the correct defensive team thought process. This includes positioning, hedges, switches, rotations, aggression, communication, anticipation, and more.

Transition Training– Players will be drilled on the movements, spacing, decision making of the transitioning from offense to defense & defense to offense. This includes rebounding, passing, shot selection, transition flow, being in the correct positions in transition, and more.

IQ Training– Players are trained in the understanding of the entire game. This includes natural reactions, anticipations, reading offensive and defensive sets, reading transition flow, clock management, and more.

Monday- January 29, 6-7pm (Jump Shot Perfection)
